Lee

I could claim I was being ironic, but, sadly, that would be a fib. I was too focused on the lovely Laura.

"Jason Trott - Became Britain's greatest-ever Olympian"

So great that you got his name wrong!

My unwoke 6

Emma Raducanu - Winner (big sport, has a personality, achieved something v. special)
Mark Cavendish - Runner up (big sport (globally), has a personality, achieved something v. special)
Tyson Fury - Third (see ER and MC)
Jason Trott - Became Britain's greatest-ever Olympian. Half of Britain's greatest ever sporting couple. Laura should be in, too, but three would be too many cyclists.
Joe Root - Extraordinary, record-breaking batsmanship (good) and captaincy (bad). No discernible personality whatsoever.
Tom Daley - bringing up the rear, a hugely popular 'at long last' Olympic gold medalist.

Anyway, the BBC are putting all their energies trying to oust Johnson and de-stabilise the tories so the left can get in.

This won’t be on in our house. Like most other BBC TV, it’s become unwatchable.

Re: BBC Woke Personality of the Year
does anyone think Lewis's BLM support caused a blacklash Sunday with the decisions by the race officials? did the fact he supports a hollow marxist elite hypocritical movement lose him the title?

Re: BBC Woke Personality of the Year
Raducanu- obvious
Peaty- obvious
Storey- not obvious but agree given her astonishing career. No chance of winning
Daley- fairly obvious. Perhaps a tiny bit of wokeness
Sterling- not there for the right reasons
Fury- not obvious but agree. No hope in hell of wining.

I'd go for Peaty or Storey but Raducanu will win easily.

Indeed. I probably see more of Alex Scott than I do my own wife.

I assume Alex Scott will be presenting, after all she seems to be on everything else!!

I am assuming it is satire too.
As has already been said it will Emma Raducanu unless Lewis Hamilton wins on Sunday and even then it will close.

I can never remember who the comedy posters are on here, but I have to assume this is a wind-up?

Sums it up to be fair.

As for Fury, they'll never let him anywhere near the award after telling them to fuck off and saying folk shouldn't vote for him when he was last nominated.

Re: BBC Woke Personality of the Year
Apparently this year it's going to be presented by Kelly Maloney and Eddie Izzard
